Not sure what your light pollution i s like but I found it very difficult to find. Even now, knowing where it is, it takes almost 5 minutes for my eyes to adjust. I’m gonna set up the tripod in a sec.

I’m thinking I might drive up to the mountains this weekend with my telescope and SLR and try to get some decent shots of it.

I tried to see it last night, but it still wasn’t dark enough by 10:00 pm (when I was coming in from the garage to go to bed).

Check closer to 11pm until the 22nd of the month . 10:45 might be late enough.

I’m on west coast. The night before I saw it at 10:45. Last night I went out at 11. Below and slightly to the right of the big d ipper.
